A few years ago I had a bear pull my camera breaking the strap and then playing around with it. Camera still works minus the hanging strap but I ended up getting something better to fix that. Now at the time of my searching for security boxes, the major catalogs didn't have much to offer like they do now. So below is a few photos of the first trail cam lock box I bought along with a link to the place I but mine from at the time. Cabela's & BassPro both now carry them but I personally like to keep my bussiness with the orginal maker. This has been the ticket for curious bears & for any "would be jerks" messing with my trail cameras set ups. Well, it won't really stop a thief from stealing it but I'm not going to make it easy for them. It might be a little over kill but if they want my camera...their going to have to work to get it The newest editions I’ve add to my camera security boxes is the universal swivel bracket. This is cool feature allows me to angles my camera(s) for the best possible angle without having to break sticks to wedge the camera if the tree is not perfectly straight. If I want to mount my camera 8ft off the ground out of sight of other, I now can angle it almost straight down and still get photos. I have not set up on a tree yet but when I do, I’ll add a few photos.
