...I've got the right 20ga combo I tried a new crow load in my 20ga today in Vermont after turkey scouting and it paid off. I still took shots that were too high but over all I think I did good with some really nice tough shots. I ended up dropping 4 dead with one of them dropping out of our recovery range ;D I was reading that hi-velocity loads can actually make open holes in the tighter choke patterns. So I kept my full choke in the Benelli M2 but instead of shooting a Remington Express load, I switched to a 2-3/4 1oz 8 shot load with a 1135fps. I think it really paid off. Again my shooting needs to improve especially on my 1st shot. It seems that all today and most of the time on other hunts, it's my 2nd shot that I smoke the crows. Maybe in my mind I tell myself after my 1st shot misses the crows, YOU $#@*^%( KNUCKLEHEAD......AIM RIGHT AND SHOOT THE FREAKING CROW ;D Either way, I'll take a crow folding on my 2nd shot all day. I just think it would be nice to drop them on the 1st shot
