Just wondering what the crow hunter on the forum like more I grew up hunting them in the fall on their fly way (which was over our farm) and only hunted them in the spring in the last few years around here. I'd personally would take hunting a fly way anytime of the week over calling in a handful at a time but the late summer or early fall temps and flying bugs are something I'd rather not deal with.

To be honest I have not tried them in the fall that much. I like working them in the spring a lot. They respond to calls and decoys similiar to ducks.
But I voted for the "Does Not matter as long as they are dropping". I really enjoy crow hunting. I go out with zero expectations and always seem to have a good time.

Oh man...you're going to fit in just fine crow hunting with me The only thing I expect when heading out is throwing a lot of lead and laughing about it ;D I tried to hit up Able Ammo today to place an order for a case a crow loads but they were out of stock

I don't LOVE the heat or the mosquitoes, but neither of them bother me enough to not go crow hunting in 85F weather. MA is open for crow every Fri Sat and Mon... I really enjoy shooting young birds over a freshly manured field in August. They come in hot and angry! This one is a mature bird of only 2 that I called in.
