Saturday the kiddo and I got loaded up and headed out to drop a few crows before Momma woke up. Left the house at 0500 hours and on the ride to "our" spot that we had scouted a few days before my little girl was giving me a hard time on getting up so late. "We should have left at 4," she chastised. "If we were duck hunting we would have." I replied, "But only because we would be worried that someone else would beat us to our spot, besides I haven't seen any crows moving before 6 so we will be fine. Now lets stop and get some hot chocolate." Well wouldn't you know it, we pull into this field that had 60+ birds in it just days ago to find a truck with hunting stickers all over it. Oh well, lets head over to another spot that always pays off. Another truck! Looks like my daughter was right. We should have gotten up earlier... We finally found a field without hunters in it and set up. Shot a couple and made back in time for breakfast with momma. hauling the stuff in can be hard work! running the e-call she does a great hero pic... this crow hunting can be tough... packing up carrying all that gear can tucker a kid out

Ha-Ha shes a qt-pie! and a worker too hauling all that gear!....I have noticed over the last few years that crow hunting has been getting more popular...NEVER used to see any other crow hunters..I think the E-callers have been a big factor in that.
