I was looking to get a full choke for my 12ga crow blaster but all I found was an extra full trap choke in several shops. The price was right on a used Remington extra full trap and I didn’t feel like waiting to order up a full so I bought it. Now my questions is, what’s the difference in a regular Remington Full and the Remnigton Extra Full Trap choke? I would think it it’s probably between modify and full with Trap stamped on it and not on the other end of between a full and extra full. I just don’t know I like the modify choke for crow hunting but at times wish I had a full. If this choke is in between those to, I just might be a crow thumping fool on Sunday

I tried another search...well several & I found a few discussions on it saying that the Trap choke were basically made for the Remington 870 TC & the 1187 Premier. Then on one topic the guy broke down the constriction of the Trap choke & how they compare to the standard Rem chokes. The "Super Full" is a standard Rem Choke "full" tube which is .690. Thus the "Super Full" has 55 points of constriction calculated as follows: .745 - .690 = .055.
The "Extra Full" is a standard Rem Choke "modified" tube which is .709. Thus the "Extra Full" has 36 points of constriction calculated as follows: .745 - .709 = .036.
The "Full" is a standard Rem Choke "improved cylinder" tube. I do not have the dimensions of the "improved cylinder tube" but my understanding is that it has 31 points of constriction. The shop I got it at had the Super Full Trap so it looks like I'll head back & swap it out
