Well I finally got this woodchuck this morning, { Fred } he has been eluding me for 2 years. He has been living under a pile of lumber in the polebarn were I hunt. I just got this Ruger Mark III Hunter a few months ago and have been practicing with it. I belly crawled to about 27 yards and gave him a dirt nap, 1 shot to the head.

Too bad Fred...your days of being lucky have ended Nice going Charlie I was going to pop one down the road from me in a cut hay field to other day. I drove by the field looking for him and he was there, laying on the shoulder of the road dead I really miss groundhog hunting.

Tom, I'd bet it's been 30 years since I've shot one. I used to have a Win model 70 22-250 bull barrel varmint rifle that put down many a woodchuck back then. There seemed to be a lot more back in those days. Ther wasn't as many houses and developments around.

Hey Tom , picture was taken with the CLIP SHOT that we got up in Burlinton VT a few years ago. Got to love those things, every one should carry one if you hunt alone.

Get a set up like bluemtchuck There one living behind our house in the backyard that I've given a "LIVE" ticket too for a few years now. Better him living there than a skunk or fox plus he would be too easy to thump ;D
